“The Winter Storm” is part of the Abstract Seasons series, a body of work exploring not only the changing beauty of nature but also the seasons we experience within ourselves. This painting explores fear and anxiety — the inner storms that can arise when we face uncertainty, change and emotional turbulence. Deep blues, restless textures and fragmented layers create a sense of movement and tension, while softer passages of pale light emerge through the darkness. The work reflects the difficult moments we sometimes have to move through in order to find strength, clarity and renewal. The Winter Storm is ultimately a meditation on resilience: the quiet knowledge that even the fiercest inner storm will eventually pass.
